Abstract
An overview of the details of the Second International Scientific Conference «Ukraine and the USA: Experience and Prospects of Cooperation» (Dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of Establishment of Diplomatic Relations), which took place on November 23, 2017, in the walls of Shevchenko University, is presented in the article.
Establishment of research communication and networking is an integral part of scientific life in every country of over the world. Exchange of the thoughts and experience opens the prospects of researching of new aspects, topics, directions and even entire scientific disciplines. One of the most effective channels in this process is providing scientific conferences.
In order to support American studies in Ukraine the Department of Modern and Contemporary History of Foreign Countries of the History faculty of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and its partners have already held the international scientific conference «Ukraine and the USA: Experience and Prospects of Cooperation» for the second time.
As a result, the author of the article claims that the second conference «Ukraine and the USA: Experience and Prospects of Cooperation» has become another important step towards comprehensive development of American studies in Ukraine and revealed the need of annual providing of such events.
